IWWWFB 2025 Local Transportation Shuttles

To assist with local travel, we will arrange a series of shuttles from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Mandarin Oriental Pudong and return, scheduled at times that serve the majority. If you would like to book the shuttles, please BOOK HERE(After April 10,2025) for the time that work bests for you. The submission deadline is Wednesday, April 30th. There are various alternative ways to reach Mandarin Oriental Pudong from the airport or train station. Please see below for details.


Travel by Air

The major airport is Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) with many international connections to major cities over the world. Alternative airport is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA). Below you can find information on how to arrive to Mandarin Oriental Pudong from PVG or SHA.

  • From PVG or SHA to Mandarin Oriental Pudong by Taxi

There are many taxi services available from PVG or SHA to Mandarin Oriental Pudong. The easiest options are the taxis readily available outside of the airport terminal at all times of the day.

  • From PVG or SHA to Mandarin Oriental Pudong by Metro

From PVG, take Metro Line 2 (about every four minutes) towards East Xujing, about 58 minutes by 16 stops, get off at Lujiazui Metro Station. For the remaining 1.2 miles, you can take a taxi to Mandarin Oriental Pudong, approximate cost for a taxi is USD $3 from Lujiazui Metro Station to Mandarin Oriental Pudong.

From SHA, take Metro Line 2 (about every four minutes) towards Pudong Airport, about 33 minutes by 11 stops, get off at Lujiazui Metro Station. For the remaining 1.2 miles, you can either take a taxi or walk to Mandarin Oriental Pudong, approximate cost for a taxi is $2 from Lujiazui Metro Station to Mandarin Oriental Pudong.


Travel by Train

The nearest train station to Mandarin Oriental Pudong is Shanghai Railway Station (30 minutes away from Mandarin Oriental Pudong) on the main line from Beijing, Kunming and Nanjing. Additionally, most of the bullet trains and high-speed trains departs and stops at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (50 minutes away from Mandarin Oriental Pudong), which is mainly responsible for high-speed rail passengers’ departure and arrival.

From Shanghai Railway Station you can hire a taxi for final transport to the Mandarin Oriental Pudong. Approximate cost for a taxi is USD $6.00 from Shanghai Railway Station to the Mandarin Oriental Pudong. Taxis should be readily available at the train station at all times of the day.

From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station you can hire a taxi for final transport to the Mandarin Oriental Pudong. Approximate cost for a taxi is USD $12.00 from Shanghai Railway Station to the Mandarin Oriental Pudong. Alternatively, take Metro Line 2 (about every four minutes) towards Pudong Airport, about 33 minutes by 11 stops, get off at Lujiazui Metro Station. For the remaining 1.2 miles, you can take a taxi to Mandarin Oriental Pudong, approximate cost for a taxi is USD $3 from Lujiazui Metro Station to Mandarin Oriental Pudong.
